Prom Dress – Gold

The Prom Dress intruders are excellent intruder flies that are extremely suitable for sea trout fishing in Iceland, but originally were designed for steelhead fishing. There is plenty of sparkle, glitter and bright colors in these wonderful flies and are extremely vibrant in water. They feature heavy dumbell eyes that make them sink quickly and get down to where the fish is hiding quickly.

The Prom Dress series of intruder flies were originally designed by fishing genius Steve Howell and was first released around 2009. This series of flies has been extremely popular in the US among steelhead anglers and are gaining popularity in Iceland among sea trout anglers – and for a good reason.
